Held. Heard. Healed.
Sisterhood Support Community
A sisterhood support community for women walking alongside mental health challenges.
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE)
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) offers a supportive space for women to connect with one another through shared experiences, mutual understanding, and compassionate conversation.
Here, women are invited to listen, share, and support one another—without judgment, pressure, or expectation.
Her Feelings Matter Too
When a friend or family member is living with a mental health condition, it’s easy to focus all your energy on their needs. In the process, your own feelings, fears, and exhaustion can quietly go unseen.
You are not alone.
Many women find themselves caring for someone they love while navigating uncertainty, limited access to care, or situations where help is refused. You may be supporting someone during recovery, after hospitalization, or following a mental health crisis—and that can feel overwhelming.
As a family member or friend, you often play an essential role. But supporting someone else does not mean neglecting yourself.
Your worries are not “small.”
Your exhaustion is real.
And your need for comfort and support matters too.
Building your own support system is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. When women gather with others who understand, strength grows through connection, shared experience, and the reassurance that:
“Someone else knows what I am going through.”
This is why SHE exists.
Who SHE Is For
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) is for women who are walking alongside mental health challenges.
SHE is especially for women who:
You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not need to “fix” anything.
You do not need to be in crisis to belong.
SHE welcomes women at every stage of the journey—those who are supporting others and those who simply need a safe place to be seen and heard.
If you’ve ever felt alone in this journey, SHE is here for you.
What to Expect in a SHE Gathering
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) gatherings are designed to be safe, supportive, and welcoming spaces where women can come as they are.
Each gathering offers:
Sharing is always optional.
Listening is always welcome.
There is no expectation to have answers, offer advice, or tell your full story. SHE gatherings are not about fixing problems—they are about being present, being understood, and being supported.
Women often leave feeling lighter, less alone, and reassured by the simple truth that others are walking a similar path.
You are free to participate at your own pace.
How SHE Is Different from Therapy
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) is a peer-to-peer support community, not a therapy or clinical treatment program.
SHE gatherings are designed to offer connection, understanding, and encouragement among women with shared experiences. While emotional expression and support are welcomed, SHE does not provide diagnosis, counseling, or medical advice.
Here’s how SHE differs from therapy:
SHE complements—not replaces—therapy and other professional services. Many women participate in SHE while also receiving counseling, medical care, or other forms of support.
We walk alongside you—we do not carry the journey for you.
How Do I Get Support?
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) offers a peer-to-peer support community where women can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another in a safe and welcoming environment.
SHE provides a private space for women who support a friend or loved one living with mental health challenges—and for women who need understanding, encouragement, and sisterly support as they navigate their own journeys.
Through SHE, women receive:
To learn more or join an upcoming SHE gathering, we invite you to contact us or explore our events. We’re happy to answer your questions and help you take the next step.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone.
Our Commitment to a Safe & Supportive Space
Seen. Heard. Empowered. (SHE) is rooted in trust, compassion, and mutual respect. To help create a space where every woman feels safe and supported, we ask all participants to honor the following shared commitments:
SHE Group Guidelines
Confidentiality
What is shared in SHE stays in SHE. We honor one another’s stories by protecting privacy and trust.
Respect & Compassion
Every woman’s experience is valid. We listen with care, without judgment, comparison, or pressure to respond.
Sharing Is Always Optional
You are welcome to share as much—or as little—as you feel comfortable. Listening is a meaningful form of participation.
Listening Over Fixing
SHE is a space for understanding, not problem-solving. Advice-giving is discouraged unless specifically invited.
Healthy Boundaries
SHE is a peer support community, not therapy or clinical care. We respect emotional, personal, and relational boundaries.
Inclusive & Faith-Adjacent
Optional moments of reflection may be offered, but faith is never imposed. Women of all backgrounds are welcome and respected.
Care for Yourself
You are encouraged to step away, pause, or seek additional support whenever needed.
Together, these guidelines help us create a space where women can feel seen, heard, and empowered—without fear or expectation.
Our hope is that every SHE gathering feels like a place where you can breathe, belong, and be supported.
